What we believe:
We believe the Bible is God’s word to mankind and the foundation for what we believe.
We believe the Bible is God’s inspired word and useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness (2 Tim. 3:16).
We believe in God the Father, Jesus Christ, his only begotten son, our Lord; and in the Holy Spirit.
We believe in one true God who is three persons as taught in the Bible (Father, Son, and Spirit)
We believe that sinners are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ (Eph. 2:8-9), which includes:
Belief in Christ (John 3:16)
Repentance (Acts 2:38)
Confession (Romans 10:9-10)
Baptism (Mark 16:16; Acts 2:38; Titus 3:5-7)
We believe Christians are to be like Jesus and to be like Him we must study and put into practice His life and teachings as found in the Bible.
We believe every Christian receives the non-miraculous indwelling of the Holy Spirit at baptism (Acts 2:38).
We believe in the resurrection of the body and life everlasting.
We believe in:
Sincere worship (John 4:24)
Every-member evangelism (Acts 8:4)
Godly living (Titus 2:11, 12)
Love for each other (John 13:33, 34)
Helping those in need (James 1:27)
We believe the church is to be organized with:
Elders
Deacons
Preachers/Evangelists
Members
We believe that it is possible to have unity by simply following the New Testament.
